Lily Kim is a life sciences strategy consultant in the Boston area with technical expertise in microfluidics and lab-on-a-chip systems. She has a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology and an S.B. in electrical engineering from MIT. In the past, she was awarded a Hertz Foundation fellowship and developed microfluidic devices for investigating embryonic stem cell biology. Her interests include the commercialization of microfluidic and biomedical technology, theories of technology evolution, body 2.0, and understanding how people think about risk.
